Thanks Cali for nominating me.

 I was catching up on all my blog reading this morning and lo and behold I saw that I have been nominated for the Liebster Award by my new friend Cali at His Rib, Her Rock (a great blog).

 

Here are the rules:

1. Thank the person who nominated you and post a link to their blog on your blog.

2, Display the award on your blog--by including it in your post and/or displaying it using a "widget" or a "gadget".

Answer 11 questions about yourself which will be provided to you by the person who nominated you.

4. Provide 11 random facts about yourself.

5. Nominate 5 - 11 blogs you feel deserve this award, who have less than 1000 followers.

6. Create a new list of questions for the blogger to answer.

Here are the questions Cali asked:

 

1. What kind of music do you listen to in the car? And do you sing along?

I usually listen to country music unless one of my kids is whining about it then we listen to classic rock.

2. Do you have an item of clothing that you love but your spouse/family hates?

Yep. My husband hates  me wearing my old, comfy, and holey sweats. But they are comfy and I only wear them in the house.

3. Favorite season?

I don't really have a favorite season, but fall and spring aren't too bad.

4. Favorite movie?

Currently it is Bridesmaids but I have always loved Grease and Dirty Dancing

5.. Strangest food you ever tried?

Escargot I guess

6. Least favorite chore around the house?

Cleaning the kids' bathroom, followed closely by laundry

7. Do you have a hobby?

I don't have much time for a hobby. I like to read and blog and pinterest and tumbler.

8. Favorite guilty pleasure?

Chocolate chip cookies and sex/spanking books and pictures

9. Favorite vacation destination?

Either Maine in the fall or Maui anytime.

10. Favorite thing to eat?

Mexican and Italian food (and chocolate chip cookies)

11. What song takes you right back to high school?

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Boys of Summer and anything GoGos

 

Eleven Random Things About Myself"

1. I really don't like my first name

2. I never had to wear braces or have had any cavities since I was 5

3. I get frustrated with my kids for not "doing their best"

4. I am watching Footloose right now, for about the 20th time and of course singing along with all of the songs.

5. I always feel like a princess on my birthday, probably because it goes unnoticed so many times being that it is so close to Christmas.

6. I weigh about 20 pounds more than I should to be healthy

7. I do not own very many shoes.

8. I love going to church but I am not as consistent as I would like to be.

9. I have always (and I still do) wanted to be an attorney

10. I just got a second tattoo - a lily that looks like the ones in my wedding bouquet

11. I sometimes wish that I didn't always come across as the typical soccer mom. What others would think if they knew the other me, lol

10. Would you go on a cruise with your family and your extended family (parents, in-laws, siblings, etc)

11. Is there a subject that you and your husband dance around and try to sweep under the carpet instead of dealing with it?
