Personally, I don't even know what to say........ I can't seem to be able to focus and be motivated. A spanking might help butt there hasn't been any time to test the theory. It is all I can do to just take care of my household. Sometimes, for whatever reason, life seems to overwhelm me. And nothing but the minimum is getting done. Luckily, I haven't lost anything or anyone, I remember to do a couple of loads of laundry and I am making dinner.
Last night, I was taking my son to Youth Group and I sorta panicked. Everything was so dark and I couldn't barely see where I was driving. Even my headlights were dim. Then I realized that I had automatically put my sunglasses on, without thinking. This is pretty much what my brain has been behaving like.
And No Blonde Jokes!!!!!!!
My husband found this picture and he wanted me to post it on my blog. Hope you enjoy it as much as he did

LOL, I've done the bit with the sunglasses before, Blondie. It's disconcerting! Hope things settle down soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks June - good to know it's not just me. There was that song about wearing sunglasses at night back when, but I don't think my future is that bright. Well not like Tom Cruise's.
DeleteROFLBMO Blondie that pic is priceless!
ReplyDeleteHope the fog is lifted soon. Sending prayers and best wishes your way.
Blessings,
Cat
Okay, still trying to figure out what ROFLBMO means. I will have to ask a teen. Look at you being as cool as a sixteen year old. Lol. I should just read your blog posts to get a laugh. Thanks for the prayers, I need all the help I can get.
DeleteRolling On Floor Laughing My Butt Off ;)
DeleteROFLMBO! Yes, now that is what I am doing.
DeleteHahah I've seen that picture before and it is very funny. We've missed you, hope to see you around more often! *hugs*
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine why my husband would think that the picture has anything to o with me. Lol. I am trying to come back. Miss you
DeleteBeing blonde has nothing to do with it, we all do silly things sometimes.Hope things get better soon. Love the pic - will it work?
ReplyDeleteOh good, glad to know that I am not the only one who does silly things. If ten spankings a night worked, I am all for it. Maybe we will have to give it a try.
DeleteWell there you are Blondie! You've been missed ya know. I've been feeling a bit discombobulated myself lately. Enough so that I downloaded a to do list app for my iphone. I can set it up with alerts and everything. Now if I only remember to use it! *shaking my head*
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace, it's nice to know that ya missed me and that I am not the only one who gets disombobulated. Love that word. Getting my list done is about all I can handle right now. I am sure glad that my kids are old enough to take care of each other.
DeleteI always smile when I see you have a new post up, Blondie! No way around it. Life is busy! We all do something like putting sunglasses on at the wrong time. Ever put something in the Frig that should not go there? Anyway, for whatever the reason--a spanking seems to help in most cases. Stress, bad attitude, or just sexy adult time. A spanking will help. Take care.
ReplyDeleteWrong things in fridge and may other things I have been known to do. My poor husband.... You always say the nicest things. Thank you very much. Spankings usually do cure what ails me. I think this time, I might need a little something more. But in the mean time, spank away!
DeleteI've missed you! Blonde or not! And 10 before bed sounds like a plan for me!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
PK
Thanks PK, I have missed you too. Maybe we all need to try 10 before bed - never know, it might help and if it doesn't, well at least we got the spanking. LOL
DeleteHi Blondie! Glad you are back. Love the pic.
ReplyDeleteI have always thought that when we carry babies they get all our braincells and we don't get them back so when I do things like the sunglasses (far too often than I would care to admit) I just blame my kids. :)
Good idea, blame the kids. I like it. I agree about the brain cells being lost wih each pregnancy. Whatever it is, I need to figure my way out of this fog and soon. Thanks
DeleteWelcome Back. I only got on for a very short intervals. I had company for 5 days, and when she would go outside to smoke, I would take a quick peek on the blogs. Today my husband went fishing, so I got to be on most of the day. I repined so many things on Pinterest. It was so fun. There's one problem. My behind is probably more tender from sitting here all day than it would have been from a spanking. God Bless You Blondie and all those you love, Belle L.
ReplyDeleteI hear you. Pinterest makes my bottom sore too. I love it and could spend hours doing it. I set a timer so I don't get carried away. Five days of company? Yikes. Thanks for your kind words.
DeletePrayers and hugs, B! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks K and back at ya
Deletei've put my sunnies on in the car automatically too. you're not alone there. good luck with getting everything back on track. hope you perk up soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Fondles! I need some of your bubbly personality.
DeleteI was disappointed we didn't get to chat last night. I understand that overwhelmed feeling. Try to find some time for yourself. I'm sending hugs your way.
ReplyDeleteJoanie
Thanks Joanie. Sorry about the other night. As soon as I signed on, my husband needed my help. I can certainly use the hugs
DeleteHa, that was funny and I am glad you posted. You have come to mind a bunch of times. Hang in there, this craziness will pass soon enough. Sometimes I really do wonder if we can blame these moments on hormones.
ReplyDeleteI am going to blame it on hormones. The time between nursing and now have been great. I felt like I finally had myself back. All the hormones were mine. Now apparently, my body is changing again. Promise me that this craziness wil pass soon..... Thanks for stopping by
DeleteHAHA I have TOTALLY done the sunglasses thing before! It happens to the best of us so don't feel too bad! :)
ReplyDeleteJJ, where have you been????? I haven't seen you around in awhile. Glad to know that I am not the only one wearing shades at night.
DeleteWell Blondie, I wondered where the hell you've been. Lol, I'm listening to "Highway to Hell."
ReplyDeleteI took that "No Blonde Jokes" as a dare.
Why did the blonde have a sore navel?
Because her boyfriend was also blond.
:~b
Kiki
What? I don't get it?
DeleteThat is very funny. I started laughing and had to share the joke with my husband (who is not blonde). You are too funny Kiki. Thanks for the laugh
Ack @ Kiki!! Lol!
ReplyDeletePshaw, lil lady, all you need is some good ole-fashioned, knee-slappin' fun! Yes, sugah, I said "knee," but if you're a-hankerin' fer some bum-bustin', that'll do 'er, too, fer.them who's so inclined!
Doldrums and megrims come on mighty quick like, with nary a warnin'. Oncet you find milk a-hidin' in t' dish safe, butter a-sittin' on t' sill, an' yo shades a-restin' on yer nose at night, it's time fer a hootenanny! Do-si-do and away we go!
Okay, yes, I'm punchy, too. Next time, just say you NEED input. I would've figured a way to fill in. Right now, I'm going to go eat my lemon garlic shrimp with angel hair pasta and a plethora of veggies and mushrooms, that I convicted over a glass of Pinot Grigio. The family is chowing down!. And, and, and, we made brownies for D! Ah, chocolate.
Missed you. Sorry I'm late commenting. Smile, sweetie, and breathe. Hugs!
Irishey
Irishy, dang I had to read your comment like three times. You are too funny. Get your own blog and let me whine on my mine. Where's the love and sympathy? Send the brownies ASAP. Chocolate is another one of those cure-alls.
ReplyDeleteWell, honey, I was trying to get you to a hoedown with me to bust up both our lousy moods. That just oozes love and sympathy, sugar. Not only that - it worked for me! Thank you, sweetie. Gag. I'm on a sugar high. Where's my chocolate?
DeleteYes, ma'am, getting right on that blog thingy, just as soon as I finish this, that and the other thingies I have pulling me around by the nose. Meanwhile, whine to your heart's content. Better to unload and vent here, work through it until you get to the bottom of what you really think and feel, so you can talk through the real stuff with that wonderful man of yours.
I'm going to visit relatives the next few days, out in the boonies where my phone gets no bars and internet is dial-up. And, it's a working trip to boot. But, I get to see my parents, a couple of my daughters and some of my little grandbabies, so I'm not complaining! I'll be back to bothering the blogs next week.
I'll be thinking of you. I hope you're feeling better. Have a great weekend!
