I promised myself, that no matter what it looked like, I was going to have a new post today. My last post was just too sad to still be up.
Unfortunately, or fortunately as some may consider, school started this week. New schedules and routines have begun. I feel like the taxi driver again. I have a son in college, two children in high school, one in middle school and one still in elementary. So I am tired and just trying to maintain order around here and keep up with laundry and filling out all of the paperwork that gets sent home the first day of school. Lol
We are leaving today for the weekend. We are going on our church's annual family retreat. I am excited.
We stay in little cabins by the lake. Eat in the cafeteria, have great speakers and lots of free time.
What to pack, what is the the weather going to be like, how is the traffic going to be, will we like the speaker, do we need groceries for the older boys, etc? That is what I am thinking about.
and......
And he has repeatedly threatened to spank me, right here and now, if I don't stop stressing.
and that isn't going to be for fun,

DeleteGlad you had a good time! Cowgirl Up is just basically the female, western version of "Man Up" I've actually used it as a motto to get through some really intense work-outs among other things.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a great weekend. I'd love to go to something like that. My church used to do something similar and I never had the opportunity to go. Now I do and they no longer do it :(. Have fun! I'm sure your sons will be fine.
