Naked Anniversary

It was a great weekend. I wish we could have stayed longer but life doesn't allow for too much lazy, free time.

So the clothing optional resort was not at all quite what I thought it would be like.

It took me awhile to not stare at the ground but once I looked up, you tend to look at someone in the face when talking to them.

I have really never seen many males naked. That was kind of a novelty that I tried to pay much little attention to.

It was so much fun. Never once did I worry about how I looked. Well except the color of my skin - as in too red and needing more sunscreen.

And the people were so nice there.

The resort was absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean and open.
They consider the place a family environment and so it was really vanilla except that everyone was nude.
There were tennis courts, bike trails, paddle boats and kayaks, exercise room, ping pong and pool tables, beautiful lake and four pools.
There were people who lived there full time and some part time.

Most of the people had been in the nude scene for awhile. But they welcomed us "first timers" with lots of encouragement and laughs.
At 45 and 48, we were pretty much the youngest people there. It was mostly people who had grown children and grandkids.
If you enjoy being undressed at home or in private, then I would say you would like it here. There is no reason to hide being nude. No one is looking at you in a sexual way.

There was a lot of alcohol all being consumed especially at night. There are dances every weekend and the dance was pretty wild. But the next morning all those people were back at the pools or walking around the lake.

Supposedly, there is a swingers group there. We didn't see anything. My husband was propositioned when he was out walking past the dance. The woman offered to teach him how to do more than dance. And her husband kind of shrugged his shoulders like he didn't care. My husband didn't go anywhere alone after that.

We were talking to this one man in the pool and he must have liked something I said and he said to me "I would hug you if we were naked". My husband said "I wouldn't let you hug her even if you were dressed" and the man laughed.

I was more comfortable sometimes wearing a sarong around my waist but I  also did the whole naked thing.
My husband could not believe that we were actually there. He wanted to know if we would ever return. I told him yes and he is soooooooooo happy.

 Good news: Our children were great! They all behaved, no problems, no phone calls, no police, nothing. They even picked up the house before we got home.  At 18, 16, 15, 12 and 10 they were responsible beyond our expectations. I think that we may be planning another short getaway soon.

Okay, I guess I should stop with the vanilla talk about being at a nudist resort. It was fun. It was interesting and all. But oh boy it was fun.
We had to bring our toys and paddles and stuff with us because we were worried that our curious kids may snoop. So we felt that is was much safer to bring them.

We were already naked the entire time. Nature, sunshine and nudity are major aphrodisiacs for my husband. We did enjoy the grounds but the bed got the most use.

So if you enjoy being naked around your own house. You love being in nature and you have no rules about wearing any clothes, you need to go to a clothing optional place. You cannot have sex outside  but the you could sure enjoy what the fresh air provides.

Laying in a pool naked. Eating dinner without a stitch of clothing. We weren't brave enough to play volleyball or tennis. Every time we were outdoors for a walk or a swim, we always ended up back in the room.

This is definitely going to be an anniversary we will never forget.
