It's hard to figure out what exactly we are supposed to do during the time we really show our lurkers how important they are. I was told that there was a way to see how many times your blog was looked at. And sure enough, there is something in the Stats area that shows it. Interesting enough, some of my posts that had the most comments didn't have the most, or even closest to the most, views. For some reason that makes me laugh.

The post that got the most views was "oh my God, what a spanking". That was in April 2012. All you spankos out there, must have viewed that day. I would have.

My viewers are from all over the place. Wow! Gotta love the internet.

And then there are the posts that had the most comments, they also had the most "Anonymous" comments. That is really touching. And the feedback was tremendous.

Most of us bloggers start out as Lurkers. I dabble with having a blog and then shutting it down. I think I had one post up for a couple of days. Then chickened out because I couldn't figure out why anyone would be interested in what I thought. Two bloggers wrote to me after I shut the blog down and asked me and told me that they really liked my first post. All bloggers are important but at the time when I was new, these two bloggers, Stormy and Bonnie, seemed like they were famous and the best and everyone loved them. I felt so special. I soon realized that every blogger is special.

 

I wonder when I get a comment from "anonymous" if they are actually a lurker. I read the anonymous comments, they can be some of the most insightful and kind comments that I get. Tell me, which kind of my blog posts you like the best.
