Just A Couple More Days


Yeah, yeah, probably sounding like everyone else, but boy has life been busy. All of the end of school stuff (parties, field trips, finals, etc.) happening. And my daughter's high school graduation is tonight!

Plus Ty is sick. We don't know what is wrong with him. He has seen numerous doctors, And has had a ton of blood work done. He is constantly exhausted, bad muscle fatigue, and other ailments. The doctors keep ruling things out but haven't determined what is wrong. For a guy, like Ty, who is usually the energizer bunny around here, this is just really depressing him.
My oldest has been trying to pick up some of the slack and I have been picking up a lot too. I even made my first paddle last night under Ty's direction. We have kind of put our paddle business into an "under construction" phase and have only the paddles that are already made being listed. Once I get the hang of the woodworking or Ty begins to get some kind of strength and endurance back, our business will be back to normal. Plus, we have a bunch of new paddles that Ty had already made that we have never taken the time to post. (Take pictures, and put into our Etsy store). I am getting on that too.

On top of all that, I start school today! Well, now it is yesterday that I started school. Glad to get the first day over with. I got into the class I wanted that I was on a wait list for. Now I need to decide if I want to attempt to take both of the classes I am signed up for or just one. The class that I was on the wait list for is online, so I don't have to actually go to school. It is an English writing class and I love English! The other one is math, which I really need to take because I have avoided it for so long and now to meet my requirements I need to take this class as a prerequisite for the math that I need to complete for my general requirements. Decisions, decisions......

Summer starts for the kids on Thursday!!! No more early morning rush and stress. Life should calm down some. The kids are all old enough to take care of themselves during the day. And then I will have enough time that I can blog again

    Yay you! And yay summer!! ( although our kitchens will not be clean now until September!!) Good luck with your classes.

    As for Ty I hope they find something soon. It is no fun for me to pick on a sick person! *wink*

      I told Ty that you didn't like to pick on sick people, he replied that he is always up for a good time.......???

    So sorry to hear about Ty...not knowing what is wrong is the hardest, hope you get answers soon. Yay for summer.....good luck with the classes...I always avoided math classes for as long as i could....

      Not knowing, drives me crazy - and he can't stay off Google, trying to diagnose himself.. I decided not to take the math class (I hate math). Thanks for your kind words

    Sorry to hear he is not feeling well. Vitamin D? (That is always the case here in WA State), hope you figure out what is wrong soon and he gets better.
    And yeah! for summer! We have exactly one week left!

      We seem to get a ton more sunshine than you do up there........... no wonder you all drink coffee, except for our new pastor who is from Seattle and hates coffee. Is there Vitamin D in coffee? Today is the last day of school? And my fourth day of school. Thanks for stopping by and we might be heading north your way some time this summer (like northern Washington State) to visit a blog friend (right Rogue?),,,,,

      Winter? I haven't put that all together, the season difference. Hopefully you have a mild winter not like the East Coast did here in the US. Thanks for your good wishes

    Hey, so many things going on in your world. First, congratulations to your daughter on her graduation. Then, good for you on going back to school, that's an undertaking. As for Ty, sorry. I know this sounds very simple but is it possible there might be a tick bite involved? Something so simple is easily overlooked and shows some of the symptoms you mentioned. Whatever, I hope they find it soon.

      Thanks Leigh. Good things are happening. And actually, Lyme disease and those kind of things have been tested for. We are just waiting for results now for just about every test that the doctors good give (all the blood work)

    Hey Blondie...Congratulations to you and your daughter on her graduation. So happy you decided to go back to school...I did that after my kids were back in school and it was a challenge but fun...I am sure you will enjoy it.

    Not knowing what is wrong with Ty pure D sucks for all of you. I have been through something similar years ago, again last year and my oldest DIL went through a similar situation two years ago...I absolutely hate going through all those tests to just constantly be told...nothing wrong...so frustrating. I understand Ty trying to diagnose is symptoms...he wants a blasted answer! Sending lots of prayers, healing energy and positive thoughts...hope they discover a diagnosis soon! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you.
