Busy Time

Well I almost have to disappear again. Life got busy. Actually, my daughter is suffering mentally and she has been staying with us. We are her safe place. And after speaking to her psychologist and psychiatrist, it looks like she will be staying with us for awhile. Some of you may remember me talking about my daughter back in the day. She has brought me the greatest joy and the greatest sorrow. But she needs her mom now and I will always be here for her. I don't want to stop blogging, so keep me in your thoughts and pray for my daughter and I will see you around.

  3. Hey Pretty Lady,

I'd tell you're in my thoughts, but you always are.

I know times like these are beyond challenging. We as parents just want to believe that happiness and life afforded to seemingly so many others will be a reality for our kids too.

While I know it's exhausting it's also a good thing she finds your home her safe space. We all know it takes such courage and strength to ask for help, and she's obviously like her Mama in that way.

I understand the need to leave this space for as long as it tajes- but don't think for one moment I'm not going to be harassing you daily. Feel free to ignore my texts- just know they'll be there to answer when you feel you want to.

    Much love my friend

    1. Willie, thanks for always being there and not giving up on me because I know that I suck at emails. And when I saw your last blog post, I knew that I had to keep up, I am a little bit on the competitive side, lol. Thanks for getting me back into blogging. You have been an awesome friend.

    1. Thank you so much Roz. Today she starts an outpatient treatment that should last a couple of weeks. It is interesting having her home again and our house is full. I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate your kind words and positive vibes. They mean everything to me.

    1. Thank you Fondles for your words and your love. We are her safe space and now she will get some outpatient care and hopefully learn some new techniques that help her deal with her mental illness. I just love her so much and hate to see her struggle. Thanks for reminding me to breathe, I think I need to take up yoga or something.

  6. I'm really glad your daughter has you to come to. It can't be easy for any of you, but I know you'll be strong for her. These things are sometimes hard to talk about with the people you see daily, but you can talk here. Because we all KNOW how much you love your daughter, you can feel free to complain and gripe at times. None of us mind a good rant. We know how much it helps, so feel free.

    1. PK, you cannot even know how much your words mean to me. This is my safe place because of people like you who don't judge me when I need to rant and rave. It is nice that she is with us, it helps with some of the worry but I was kind of getting use to being almost an empty nester. Thanks PK for being such a good friend.

  7. Blondie,

This shows how amazing you must be for your daughter to always know you are her safe place.

I know you will do well as I am sure you always do supporting your daughter. I will send you strength and positive thoughts to help though.

  9. Thank you so much Windy for your kind words and offers of prayers and support. Willie can vouch for me that I am terrible at emailing and that I am hard to keep around. Lol. But I will reach out to you because I can always use a friend. Thanks for the offer. And I do like weirdos, lol.

  10. Oh gosh Blondie, I’m so sorry. But I am also happy your daughter has you for her safe place. It’s so difficult helping our kids weather a crisis. However, love and prayer is how we cope. I also believe when they feel they can reach out for help it is the first step to getting better.
Please keep us posted. Know that we care.
